70 mins: Chance! Harvey Elliott brings the ball out of his own half and slides it across to Thiago. He gives it to Jota who threads a pass up to Diaz on the inside left. He carries the ball into the box but Amartey does well to force him wide. Still Diaz fancies himself and lets fly but ends up firing his shot wide of the near post and into the middle of the Kop.

68 mins: Albrighton is pressed by Diaz who wins the ball high up the pitch and slides Jota into the box. Mo Salah is hovering by the back post but Daniel Amartey manages to poke the ball away from the Liverpool goalscorer and allows Kasper Schmeichel to clear the danger.

65 mins: Diaz and Robertson link up again to allow the left-back into the space next to the penalty area. He looks to whip in a cross but Albrighton slides in front of him to block it. The ball hits Robertson and goes out for a goal kick.

62 mins: Here come the changes. There are two from each manager. Jurgen Klopp swaps Curtis Jones and Roberto Firmino for Harvey Elliott and Mo Salah. The Liverpool fans go wild chanting Salah’s name.

Leicester’s Youri Tielemans and Kelechi Iheanacho replace Boubakary Soumare and Patson Daka.

60 mins: Luis Diaz brings an aerial pass under control and cuts inside from the left. Space opens up in front of him and he goes for goal only to see his effort deflected wide off Daniel Amartey.

Virgil van Dijk wins the ball as it’s delivered from the corner and he nods it down to Diogo Jota who turns a shot hige and wide!

57 mins: Close! Liverpool attack down the left through a quick one-two between Robertson and Diaz. Robertson then brings the ball into the box and drills a pass into the six-yard box. Schmeichel once again gets there first and pushes it past the arriving Firmino who was waiting for a tap in.

54 mins: Firmino was shown a yellow card for his tackle on Dewsbury-Hall which is the first one of the night. He almost makes up for that after the ball comes to him in the box. He shakes off a tackle, spins towards goal then tries to pull it back to Jones but picks out Dewsbury-Hall instead who clears the danger.

51 mins: Firmino gives the ball away and that allows Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to drive towards the Liverpool box. Firmino does his best to recover the ball but fouls the Leicester midfielder in the process.

James Maddison then has the chance to shoot from the set piece but smokes his effort straight into the Liverpool wall.

48 mins: Curtis Jones has the first effort of the second half with a snapshot from the front edge of the box that is blocked and cleared by Wilfred Ndidi.

Diogo Jota has the second! He wins the ball inside Leicester’s half and drives into the left side of the box. Firmino makes a run to the back post and Jota attempts to pick him out only for Schmeichel to turn the ball out of play.

Kick off: No changes made from either Jurgen Klopp or Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool get the second half underway.
