Trailer for Billie Piper satire: I Hate Suzie
The 2021 Bafta TV awards are taking place this evening (6 June).
Richard Ayoade will present the ceremony, which will also feature a series of guest presenters including Fresh Meat’s Zawe Ashton, Line of Duty’s Adrian Dunbar and Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan
The entertainment event will take place at London’s Television Centre under Covid-19 regulations.
Nominated shows include The Crown, Normal People and I Hate Suzie.
The 2021 Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards will be shown on BBC One at 7pm.

Wow, this is a tough category. But the Best Supporting Actress prize goes to Rakie Ayola for Anthony.

And Inside No 9 wins it! Reese Shearsmith is accepting in the studio, while the team (including Steve Pemberton) are sat on the sofa at home.
Pemberton jokes that they look like “the crappest episode of Gogglebox ever”, while wearing a tuxedo t-shirt.

There’s also a virtual audience tuning in from home, who the presenter jokes differ from the actual public because they’ll actually watch the whole show.
