88 mins: GOAL! Right at the death! Newcastle have the lead!

84 mins: What a block! Palace cross the ball into the box to substitute Michy Batshuayi. He chests the ball down for Kouyate who shoots but Fernandez throws himself in front of the shot and blocks it with his body. 

81 mins: Ritchie takes it and smokes one through the wall. Guaita reacts quickly and pushes it wide!

78 mins:  Scott Dann takes out Sean Longstaff on the edge of the Palace box. He gets himself a booking for it and the visitors have a golden chance. Jonjo Shelvey and Matt Ritchie are over the free kick.  

75 mins: We’re back down the other end now as Matt Ritchie flings a cross into the middle of Palace’s box. Joelinton jumps, hangs in the air but misses the ball as he goes for the header.

Surely a goal is going to come soon. 

72 mins: Van Aanholt swings in another cross from the left wing for Palace. McArthur flicks it on and Benteke puts it wide of goal. 

69 mins: Jairo Riedewald comes on for Andros Townsend in another Palace change. 

Oh this one’s close from Newcastle. Manquillo is in loads on space over on the right and has time to perfectly place his cross. He picks out Wilson who heads the ball just over the goal.

66 mins: Van Aanholt clips a deep cross into the box for Palace and Manquillo is there to head it out. Kouyate gets to it and hits the half-volley wide of goal. 

Christian Benteke replaces Jordan Ayew for Crystal Palace.

63 mins: A Palace corner is whipped into the box. McArthur, I think, heads it back into the middle and Schlupp tries to win the header. He doesn’t but the clearance falls for Eze he spoons his shot well wide. 

60 mins: Palace win a free kick in a very promising area. Inside right about 20-yards out. Van Aanholt and Eze are over the dead ball. Van Aanholt takes the set piece and hits the wall.
