All the big moments as the nominees prepare for the main event
Awards season is officially upon us with Golden Globes 2020 taking place this evening.
The world of film and television are currently assembling in Hollywood for the ceremony, which will take place at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles at 1am GMT.
Ricky Gervais is on hand to poke fun at this year’s nominees – the full list of which you can find here – and the evening’s winners will be the clearest hint yet at who will win at the Oscars next month.
While the Globes remain the most surreal of all the awards shows (winners are annually determined by just 93 non-American journalists based in LA), there’s no doubt you’ll be wanting to know all the developments as and when they occur.

Phoenix is up for Best Performance By An Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his role as Arthur Fleck, aka the Joker.
Phoenix says he feels a bit overwhelmed by the red carpet atmosphere (and the loud crowds) and commends the hosts for their performances.
