Foxes can close in on the Champions League while Seagulls are hoping to build on their victory against Arsenal
Leicester City welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to the King Power Stadium on Tuesday as Brendan Rodger’s side look to cement their grip on a top-four spot.
The Foxes are nine points clear of fifth-placed Manchester United but dropped two points in spectacular fashion last week as Craig Dawson scored a stoppage-time bicycle kick for Watford.
Brighton significantly bolstered their hopes of Premier League survival with a shock victory over Arsenal, as Neal Maupay too scored in stoppage-time. However, Graham Potter’s side are still just five points clear of the relegation zone. Follow all the action live below:
20 min: Adam Webster appears to have an issue with his knee and Shane Duffy is readying himself on the bench. Meanwhile, Lamptey has gone down and is getting some treatment for a cut on his mouth. A couple of injury concerns for the visitors.
18 min: Mooy takes the set piece and Evans towers above everyone to head clear. Leicester will be relieved to still be level having struggled to get going here.
17 min: Brighton have been unfazed by the penalty miss. They’re on the attack again and win a free kick on the right side of Leicester’s box. A chance for one of Mooy and Mac Allister to whip the ball in.
14 min: Schmeichel saves Maupay’s penalty! He guesses right, diving low and managing to collect the ball before it rebounds too. That could be a big moment in the game.
14 min: The penalty stands! Maupay will take it…
12 min: Penalty for Brighton! Connolly races onto a ball over the top of Leicester’s defence and he’s clipped by the desperately backtracking Justin. VAR will check it.
10 min: Brighton have enjoyed plenty of possession in the opening ten minutes or so, but that’s not entirely surprising. Potter has turned them into an accomplished passing outfit, and Leicester won’t have it all their own way here.
6 min: Ambitious from Connolly, who spots Schmeichel off his line and tries to loop a shot over his head from distance. He doesn’t get anywhere near enough power on it. The game is being played at quite a slow tempo so far, although the away side look lively and full of confidence.
4 min: Another promising attack for Brighton, as Maupay is set away down the right. His ball in looks to be heading for Mac Allister, but Justin does well to intercept.

3 min: Alexis McAllister sees his free kick blocked by the wall, but he has another chance to deliver and swings an inviting ball into the middle. It’s headed behind by Chilwell, and Soyuncu clears the corner that follows.
1 min: A quick start from the visitors, who press Leicester and win the ball in the opposition’s half. Connolly is then fouled and Brighton have a free kick in a good position.
Brighton’s players emerge from the tunnel first, followed shortly by the hosts.
In other news, this is an important piece from Miguel Delaney, who’s condemned the incident at last night’s game between Manchester City and Burnley:
An empty King Power on a lovely summer evening (who would’ve expected that back in August) awaits the players. Just 15 minutes until kick off…
Neal Maupay was the hero and the villain of the story on Saturday. His last minute winner left Brighton fans more enamoured than ever with their top scorer, but Arsenal, and particularly Matteo Guendouzi, were aggrieved at his involvement in Bernd Leno’s serious injury.
Maupay insisted he had no intention of hurting the goalkeeper, and then suggested Arsenal’s players “learn humility”.
